In accordance with the Mahinda Chintanaya, we at SriLankan Airlines are recruiting stewardesses from your town. Join us and be a proud Sri Lankan ambassador to the world.

9.00am to 4.00pm
Tangalle - 2010-10-26 - Tangalle Town Hall
9.00am to 4.00pm
Tissamaharama - 2010-10-27 - Debarawewa Central College 9.00am to 3.00pm
Galle - 2010-11-12 - Hall De Galle
9.00am to 4.00pm
Badulla - 2010-11-19 - Badulla Town Hall
9.00am to 4.00pm
Kalutara - 2010-11-27 - Kalutara Town Hall
9.00am to 4.00pm
 
If you are a female between 18-29 years of age, with six GCE O/L passes including a Credit for English, we are ready to welcome you onboard as a Flight Stewardess of the national carrier following a successful interview process

If you have been a cabin crew member continuously for three years or more with Srilankan Airlines  and wish to rejoin SriLankan airlines as a cabin crew member this would be an ideal opportunity for you .
To become a part of our world famous cabin crew, you should be
  • Age -32 years or below
  • Strong communications skills in English
Employment will on contractual basis for a period of 3 years

    will also advertise the their requirements from the candidate. You should be

    and SD one of my HND batch mate also willing to join cabin crew.... but he could not pass O/L but he did A/L because he had Six pass in O/L the education department said he can do A/L so without repeating O/L math he did A/L

    in A/L

    English C and common general 47 marks

    and he is fluent with english, sinhala and tamil.....

    This blog is getting very busy now all I am trying to do is try and help you guys find the best career out there. Trust me the paper qualifications O/L A/L are history now and recruiting companies are only interested on the person and if you can sell your self more actively in the job market than others don't even bother about basics. Try to sharpen your skills on languages, current affairs anything to do with global touch. Remember we are no longer isolated explore the world my friend.     1. they say cabin crew job is not a good job because many have reported the people will end up in sex... is it true?
    2.our appearance matters allot! if im not that much looking good can i get at least the cabin kitchen section ?

    Thanks for the comment. Yeah there are lot of rumours going on about airline cabin crew jobs. But one must remember that you can’t clap with one hand and you need two hands. Also these allegations are their around the world and not specific only to airline careers. Try to have an ambition in life, be hungry for success and proud of what you do for living in return you will definitely go home with dignity and earn utmost respect from everyone. Also remember even though your appearance matters in current context of the world when it comes to earn money and be successful all you need to gain is self confidence and develop a unique personality.

    Hi Remo,

    There are many other ways you could join Sri Lankan Airlines but you need to wait till they advertise vacancies. Don’t worry too much about your qualifications prepare your CV properly and face the interview with confidence and that’s all you need to succeed.
